Over time you may ask yourself - how come I am not getting promoted, and this should help to answer your question. The task of becoming a member is not an easy or fast path to follow. That being said, there are some ways to help the process, and a lot of ways to make it slow or stop completely. First, in every sense of the word, you should stop caring about promotion. Receiving a rank increase is not, and should not be the goal of any of our members. The clan is about having fun, and rank increases are a happenstance of having quality members. If you do not get a promotion do not be insulted - promotions should never be expected, and are not given out to those who haven't done wrong - they are specifically reserved for those who have gone above and beyond to give back to the community. Just because you have not received a promotion does not mean that you are not a hard worker or a great leader. It simply means that you have not been labeled as such in a public manner. To put it another way, a promotion is a way of honoring someone for their efforts in a public way and allowing them to take on more responsibility. But it doesn't mean that someone who is promotion less must be any less of a good leader, a strong example to be followed, or someone who gives back to the community any less. Nobody needs a higher rank to be a good person - so if all you are interested in is having more power and more respect from the general public then you may wish to rethink what your goal is, and most likely you are not the type of person AUB wishes to share its trust with. If you want a promotion then be humble, and only worry about yourself - not about anyone else who gets promotions. Let AUB be concerned with other members, and you can be concerned with yourself.
